Memory Leak.

The fact that its not just an isolated case is that it's not just people's own rigs acting up but also the Game itself. GGG has already acknowledged the issues and hopefully they fix it quickly.

The problem is not with anyones rig. The problem is in the game enginr memory allocation system which is totally fuckrd up.
I have 16gb ram and when playig poe it rarely uses 5 6gb and still crashes with out of memory error. Or sinply crashes and grt the 5dddd1111 dxdiag apprcrash fot poe. |

I have 16GB of ram and never have any issues.

Well I hope y'all see improvements. I'm also running 16gb and I don't have any issues.

For you guys who have no "problems" which of these count as yes for you then?
1) Do you play Path of Exile in a SSD? 2) What OS Are you using? 3) What Graphics Card are you using? 4) What Country do you live in and what Gateway do you use? OF course these 4 factors usually are a case as to why some people have better experiences. For some other people PoE. for me I can run it on Medium quality at max without the game becoming near unplayable. Just another Forum Signature in a Sea of Signatures.

i have 16 Gb ram 1600 mhz cas 8.
windows 10 64 980 TI oc 1460 mhz/ 4001 mhz memory i7 4790K oc 4.6 ghz *4 HT 1 Tb SSD. Crashed has never PoE! I mean, PoE has never crashed, before or after ascendancy. the performances are stable, the game is smooth, no memory leak or whateva. No fps drop. No overheating. No crash. No problem. I have played 12 hours yesterday, i havent closed the game once, and i didnt notice performance drop. PoE is more stable than skyrim or Fallout 3/4. The only thing that kills fps is CoC :P PoE is fine. They should suppress Coc. Maybe i'm lucky....? or yours computers have small problems and PoE take enough memory and cpu power to show that your ram/ hdd/ ssd/ heatsink/ Mother board etc ... are defective and should be replaced? Run memtest and similar benchs. Ok, i'm trolling. Just a joke. It could be a problem with 4 to 8 Gb allocation and windows 8 & 10 , the last CoD had a pretty bug and couldnt run fine if you had less than 16 GB with a win 8/10 platform. Soo even AAA cash money games have similar problems ya see...we will talk about batman games and optimisation later. I will never be good but always I try to improve. Refer to this:
https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1604958 And well you mentioned it already. You're using obviously more expensive setups. Most people especially in 3rd World Countries don't have THAT big of a luxury to afford everything. In my case I just don't have enough RAM (I only have a 4GB RAM) So yeah. Something definitely happened since the Ascendancy patch. My guess is that it's related to GGG changing their compiler, at least the timing is suspicious.
I'm running on a new system, an Intel 6700K, 16GB RAM, 980Ti, SSD, Win 10/64-bit. I've had multiple client crashes since Ascendancy went live, many which display an E_OUTOFMEMORY exception, when that clearly is false. Last time it happened PoE was using ~1.6GB or so of RAM, which is nowhere near its process limits (4GB, it's a 32-bit process so it cannot use more). Pre-Ascendancy I didn't have any issues. The last crash I can remember was some fractured map that died, like they sometimes did. :) | |

Yup, my computer was lagging horribly so I opened the task manager only to find that PoE was using 70%+ CPU. I may not have the best of computers but I don't recall something like this happening before 2.2
