No. Lab is optional right?

" Not only is it optional (at least running it for enchantments is) the helm enchantments are probably the strongest and therefore balanced because the chances of getting what you want is small. I personally don't think it needs any change on RNG for these. https://youtu.be/T9kygXtkh10?t=285

Some people were commenting in global that the enchant is dependent on the colors of the helm, that blue sockets favor spells / reds favor melee and green favors bow skills.
So that enchanting 4B helm should never yield melee/bow enchants. Didn't test it myself so can't tell for sure :P [2.2] The Vampire - Tanky 2H Axe Slayer Duelist - /view-thread/1611662

Couple enchant options to choose from similar to the D3 Mystic when you reroll an item to enchant it would be nice. Granted, you only get one shot per labyrinth run, but at least with 4-5 potential options gives you at least a better chance from such a large pool to start with.

Maybe Argus could drop some extra Orbs you can insert in the Skulls eyes at the end.
One Orb that looks like a flexing arm = Strength One Orb that looks like two running feet = Dexterity One Orb that looks like a brain = Intelligence One Orb that looks like a Sword = Offense One Orb that looks like a Shield = Defence. So before clicking the Skull when you are going to enchant in the Ascendancy chamber, you could insert either an Offensive or Defensive Orb in One Eye of the Skull, and a Str, Dex or Int Orb in the Other eye. Offensive --------- On Hit/On Kill If you've killed recently Added as x Damage Additional Blast Increased Damage Increased Radius Increased Crit Defensive --------- When Hit/When you take a Critical Strike Cooldowns/Mana reserved If you have been hit recently Duration Do not consume charges Reduced Mana Cost Leech Increased Recovery Increased Move Speed Lets say Word of Light = Int-based / Defensive So if you insert an Offensive in left eye and an Dex Orb in right eye, you could have higher chance of getting Word of Blades. If you instead insert a Defensive in left and an Int Orb , you'd get a much higher chance getting Word of Light instead. Less RNG and a way to improve your desired chances. I don't why they didn't make you select a category and then have it roll within a range instead of max every single time.
So it's much easier to get what roll you want, but you'll redo it over and over until you get it perfect. |

Why do you people think these helm enchantments were suppose to be easy to get exactly what you want.
They were left powerful because they are difficult to get, being able to select what you want out of options or force it from other means just removes the whole randomness of the encounter really and cheapens the "i hit exactly what I needed" feeling. These enchantments arent something that you typically need to replace after you get what you want either. Not everything in this game (looking at you masters) needs to be something you can select, let it happen randomly and be rewarded as such. You know because it gives you an inventive to actually run it. https://youtu.be/T9kygXtkh10?t=285

My suggestion...
By default, 1:1:1 chance of getting enchant for red:green:blue skills For each color socket in helm, +1 weight (white counts as +1 to all, although idk how you'd trigger that). So a helm with 4 blue sockets would be 1:1:5, or 5/7 chance of getting a blue-gem enchant; 3 blue 1 green would be 1:2:4, etc. When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. Since his life model decoy isn't up to the task, please do not mistake my performance as political discussion. I'm just doing what Steve would have wanted. " Over 300 options it's stupid, not difficult. Just think about the time you have to waste on a low level area getting crap drops to end up with 300 RNG options. They are simply out of their minds. Plus the fact that the game is all about making new chars and builds. So this leads to 300x the amount of characters that you have or plan to make.
