Time to buff Thief's Torment?
A few years ago, this ring was incredibly valuable --- mostly for the mana on hit mechanic, but over time, it's value has decreased substantially, and is now almost never used other than to fill a few levels before you get your mana regen figured out. This is obviously because of the trade off of not wearing other rings. I'd just like to see a small buff to keep the ring competitive in the current game.
Here are it's current stats: +(8 to 10)% to all Elemental Resistances (10 to 16)% increased Quantity of Items found Can't use other Rings +(8 to 12)% to all Elemental Resistances 50% reduced Effect of Curses on You +(20 to 30) Life gained for each enemy hit by your Attacks +15 Mana gained for each enemy hit by your Attacks I suggest increasing the all res roll to (18-22)%, and adding a moderate hp roll to them +(35-45)life. Anything would be welcome, as I think the iconic ring has lost a lot of it's identity since there are so many options for mana/life on hit now. This thread has been automatically archived. well. ita main strenghts are IIQ, reduced curse effect 50% and free link (lgoh/mgoh)
i use this ring on two characters and fully understand the drawbacks. however can relate with a slight buff notion |

With a lot of builds thiefs torment translates into being basically unable to die until merc.
I don't think it needs a buff. I would like to see more one-ring-only rings though |
