Steam and Non steam Version | GGG i need help!

Hello! so i have little problem: i have PoE account on steam version but i wanna play on non steam game client ( not laggy and overall better) it is possible to make my game and account not steam linked? when i try to log in it says that i don't have poe account (i was logging with my steam e-mail and password)

We're able to attach an email address to a Steam account for you, which will allow you to use the email to log in with the stand-alone client. Before we move forward with these changes however, we will need to complete some account verification steps for security purposes. Please log into the Path of Exile website using the 'Sign in through STEAM' button on the login page (http://pathofexile.com/login) and send a message to our support account, which can be found here: https://www.pathofexile.com/private-messages/compose/to/Support In the message please tell us the email address you'd like to be assigned to the account.
