I think that happened to Kripp or Ziggy (or someone else, can't remember) once and was featured in some news article.
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

Interesting, I thought there was a patch some time ago which allowed Detonate Dead only on rares and below, but I must have imagined it. Need to be more careful around dead Kole and those Mortality Experimenters again when leveling...

"That was Kripp (and his party - they all ran in to grab the loot). Still one of my favourite PoE deaths to watch. Kripp took the death in stride, realised he shouldn't have gone near the corpse while the other one was there, given the map mods (I think -res was one), and re-rolled. His fans, however, had a 9-page thread by the time I got to work the next day, complaining about how the death had obviously been unfair because the extra life the monster got for the full party had counted in the explosion (which it hadn't - that life bonus has been separated out since before the Detonate Dead skill was implemented). | |

LOL @ Kripp's vid. On a side note, twinning the rock golem on Dry Peninsula is lulz as both of their cannot die buffs protect one another. Sometimes if you can't separate them, you're there for days lol.
