Expansion page navigation from main page?

Hello,

Jumped into www.pathofexile.com to check you Juggernaut accession tree.

I honestly have no idea where to click to go there.

Two adds for supporter pack and no information about expansion at all.

Could you please make your layouts more intuitive? :(

Imagine the fun of googling up and expansion page...

I agree, they should have left the original ascendancy "click" available when they released the supporter packs.

Here is the relevant link you where looking for OP.

I was wondering, maybe they simply don't have UX person at the office to work on webpage.

Its not just Ascendancy link that is hard to find.

Not to long ago i was trying to find Race Schedule. Gave up after some time.
But then it shined down upon me. Races might be called "events". Even tho everyone is reffering to them as "races".
So i clicked upon "Events" and Race Season! No luck.
Then i clicked "Events" again and chose Event Calendar! And found it.

I usually do not read popular posts again after i made a comment on it, unless it's one of my own. I wish to have a Black robed Grim Reaper micro set in game one day, grant my wish, GGG

Site visitors should not need to sift through news archives for links to ascension info.

Similarly, players new to races (or new to new types of races) should not need to:
hover over events
click event calendar
click on a race to open a forum post
sift through the forum post to find the link to standard rules for league events
and click that clink to get descriptions of race types and mods (which is another forum post, in a 3+ year old thread, where players are begging for beta keys; also unintuitive because it tells players to follow the link for standard rules if it's their first race event, but new race types and mods are frequently added so someone on their 500th race may still need to click that link).

The descriptions of race types and mods should either be presented in a category when you hover over events or described using a tag system in the page for the race itself (or both).

We can find many examples of quality/usability issues in GGG's web development (as well as content issues, i.e. reliance on wikis and community websites to provide important info about the game (mechanics/uniques/skills/maps/etc). I'd be surprised if GGG had an employee specifically hired to work on it (I suspect the website is treated as a side project for someone with other duties).
Never underestimate what the mod community can do for PoE if you sell an offline client.

Sarcasm ech ;D

That's a valid strategy to find out information about expansion, you plan spending money on.

Go to https://www.pathofexile.com/
Press Ctrl + F, type in "Browse News Archive", click on it
Press Ctrl + F, type in "Ascendancy", try and guess the right topic, click on it
Search for the link!

Edit: And yeah, races are the story for another day... finding out information about mods by browsing google... yeah, screw that.

Neat! GGG added a new banner on the right.

Thank you!
