State of Summoner/pet builds?

I quit quite a long time ago and am considering dipping my toes back in. However I'm curious what the state of minion-based builds are at the moment. Are Necro-Witches still viable for farming high end content without GG level gear?

Their considered high tier yes though not god tier in terms of clear speed it is very very fast that you can do end game without any sort of gear. I've done Atziri in full whites all though that's not saying much seeing how it's just a movement based fight etc but you get the point.

Summoner can basically do end game very fast and as you stated doesn't really need gear at all.
