I'm getting booted about once a hour.

Not sure if it's my end, or games end, but I will be fighting my way through a level, go afk for 2-3 mins and come back disconected or get booted on next level change, frustrating as I like to play this game while doing other things, I'm not sure if the games timing out or something on my end.

Capture a WinMTR trace while playing.
Let it run while you play until you experience a disconnection, then post the results. The WinMTR instructions are linked inside the "Rules" sticky post. | |

Are you possibly playing on a Laptop or on a "smart Desktop"?
Also check your AV/firewall settings. It seems either that inactive Hwnds have the lowest priority or AV/Firewall disconenct you because they cannot identify Path of Exile as safe application once it is in background. |
