Thanks Chris Roberts for the recent influx of space games. Genre was pretty much dead but now it's alive again.

p.s.: buy Rebel Galaxy, it's ebin (just deal with the fact that you can only fly in two dimensions)

Yeh bought rebel galaxy.
Great game but... imo I feel you can exploit the AI way too much.
Eg. Doing 1.5M missions waaaaay ahead of my league. Unlocked a dreadnought, lets say story mission 5 or 6...

Should be gated way more behind story and difficulty



Infinity WAS technology years in advance of others.
Loading screen free planet landings ect.
The main programmer was doing this in his spare time without any funding.
If he was able to release this 3 years ago, nobody would come close.

Imo best space game ever so far: X3 xtm mod.
Still this guy deserves a chance so I pledged my part.

Edit:
Kerbal space program is damn fun as well.
Thought me wverything about orbital mechanics I know today. This is educational stuff and 120% fun in 1!
