Game Hindering Lag Exclusive to the One month race

I understand that the presence of multiple league mods (and also a lot of players) have caused server strain. I just bought a 200$ router and my internet connection to every other game has been solid (I connect to the D.C. server). I play on predictive mode, I have experienced very bad delays, fps spikes and surprisingly no desync lol.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, I turned my graphics down RIDICULOUSLY low [manually]. Still, the same lag appears. I hope this gets fixed! I was really hyped for tempest because I haven't played it, but it's too laggy in maps to play it. I'm worried I won't be able to get to 85 because I keep dying to these delay deaths, when I click somewhere but everything I do is stuttered by a second so it's hard to steer my character.

I have consulted global chat (the most renowned source of intellectual thought) and it seems many others are having a similar problem including delays and long load screens as well.
