Missing quest items???

Today, i was doing the quest where u find the 3 relics in the sewers. I had gotten the first 2, and went to town to clear my inventory. I sold the crap rares i didnt need, and kept the 2 relics in my inventory along with ONLY the 2 relics. After going to storage to store the orbs and whatnot, i closed my storage window and opened my inventory only to find that the relics are now missing. I looked through every single one of my 4 pages of storage, and they are not in there. I'm 100% positive that i did NOT sell them to the vendor either...now i can't continue on in this quest past finding the 3rd relic.

Any suggestions or feedback???
