BOWS - whats important?

Could someone enlighten me in this bow mechanics? How can I find out, which bow is good? I see some posts here on forum named "godly bow" and when I open it, there is bow with just, say 35 - 75 phys dmg. So what are imortant stats on bows, that make them so godly? For me, i rolled ranger as my second character and I went into classic lighting arrow build. So I guess lighting damage is important stat for me. And what else? How is damage calculated in this case? Is physical damage also important?
tri element dmg
Dont undervalue what rings ammy belt and quiver can do for you, all of those can roll wep ele dmg % and a ele dmg.

Also, there are 2 many variables to answer your quest.. Crit can make or break a bow for some builds.. and other builds its a wasted stat.. physical is almost completely useless for full ele ranger... Did you take the wep ele dmg nodes? did you take resolute?
follow up question playing off the OP, If I took the ele dmg node, resolute technique and is using the classic lighting arrow build, would something like this be considered half decent for end game?

Don't worry about "endgame" so much. The most important thing when you get to maps + levels is not dying. Damage helps, but you will have enough. Anyway on to the bow:

The Ele damage is low for a maps bow, it's also only 4 link. It's also slow.

What I would look for if you have some money to spend is at least 5 links and faster attack speed with >120 ele damage top end. More is always better of course.
Just because you run Lightning Arrow doesn't mean Lightning damage on your bow is any more/less important to have. Lightning arrow only converts x% of your physical damage on bow and still fires off whatever is left, so it doesn't necesarrily do much (normally little) lightning damage. You choose lightning arrow for its effect not its damage distribution (except if your elemental build ofc its better to use arrow that converts physical damage cos then even more of your damage is being boosted by passives)
so far ... tri element thicket bow
IGN : Daryel
1.4 attack speed or better, or forget it

Anything slower is just boring and feels really clunky. imo of course
Did you know level 91 is the halfway point to level 100? This means that a softcore character dying ONCE at level 85+ can lose many days of progress.
