Cyclone; conc effect or faster attacks?

I just linked my first 6L ever, a belly of the beast. So I decided to get my old cycloner going again.

First 5 links I will run are: cyclone - melee phys - blood magic - fortify - added fire (swap for LGOH when needed).

Like the title of this thread says I can't decide on my 6th link, should I use conc effect or faster attacks? And why, what is the DPS difference?

It depends...

Conc Effect is one of the strongest multipliers in the game. So DpS-wise, it will overshadow faster attacks, unless you have no attackspeed in your tree at all.
But it has a drawback. You don't pay in DpS, you pay in clearspeed.

Faster attacks has no drawback. It just makes you kill faster.

You'll have to decide on your own. Both are ok.


Personally, I'd go for the blue socket.
Swap in:
*Item rarity or increased AoE for easy content
*Conc Effect for hard bosses
