2H Mace Marauder vs Shocker Bow Marauder in Hardcore

im now playing a first time Marauder in Hardcore.
So far that is my build

Now is the time to decide whether to go for this build

Can somebody tell me which one is better in terms of survivabilty, damage output and gear dependace?
Im playing mostly solo, though i am in a party sometimes, so party viability is a secondary criteria.
Planing to go all the way to endgame

Both builds are tested and viable. The bow build is more gear dependant IMO, but might offer a little bit more in its distance from danger. What it really boils down to is what you prefer more, ranged or melee style.
