Do +Elemental damage (from Passive Tree) improve damage from Added Fire Damage gem?

Do passive skills (from passive skill tree) like f.e Catalyse and other Elemental(and Fire) passives, affect/improve the damage of "Added Fire Damage" gem? (Im a 2-handed Ground Slam Marauder).

" I've got a related question: I have a lvl 62 2h gs marauder, currently my heavy-strike dps is 3000. I put a passive point in +30 increase weapon elemental damage, and the dps went up to 3100, which is a bit underwhelming. So my question is, is this passive worth it or not if I use Ground Slam + Heavy Strike build? thanks! |
