[RESOLVED] Glitchy graphics after patch(0.10.1), problem persists after the newer patch(0.10.1b)

Hello,

My PC is fairly new,
Short Spec:
CPU - i5-3570K
GPU - AMD Radeon HD 7770
8 GB of RAM
Running a 64bit version of Windows 7

the game has been running smoothly and well untill todays patch (0.10.1)
but after the patch the graphics of my inventory, exp bar got really glitchy, also in the character selection screen the banners that symbolize the league the character is in are wrong (it shows the default one for HC chars and some golden lion on a green background for default chars) what could be the problem and how can i fix this? tried changing all sorts of settings to anything between min to max, running as admin, compatibility modes, reinstalled the game, its all the same no matter what...

I'm having the same god damm problem! I ran the packcheck and even downloaded a whole new Content.ggpk file. Didn't help. Please, help us out here. My graphics card is GTX 470. Here's a screen:

Also, the patcher keeps re downloading the latest patch over and over again for no reason. Same patch, same size. What is going on??

the updating every time happened to me on some of the previous patches too, but there was never a problem in-game, also it doesnt download the WHOLE huge new patch every time for me, for me it only re-downloads like 76 MB or so.

have same problem . graphics are fubar ,game is unplayable.
client keeps updating the same 45mb patch every time i launch it.

packcheck showed no problems :s

same problem here, tried packcheck and vpn still downloads the patch everytime with the exact same graphical bugs everywhere in the stash, nameplates, iventory, character select and exp bar.
edit: also tried adjusting all graphical options vsync/AA/detail/post processing, all graphical glitches remain.

My client is also re-downloading the patch every time I launch the game.

This exact issue (re-downloading of the patch on launch and the gfx glitches) also happened with the previous patch a couple of days ago. The problem eventually went away after having restarted and re-downloading the patch a couple of times. No such luck yet with this current new patch.

TL;DR: restart your router; or connect to a different ISP and patch your game.

OK I might possibly have found a solution to this. It occurred to me to try this after having fixed it on the previous occasion. Firstly, let me clear up a couple of things:

I have 2 different ISP's that I use at different times, depending on latency at different time periods. The previous time this issue was fixed, I downloaded the patch whilst connected to ISP2 (which is an ISP account I use only occasionally). So it might only be purely coincidence that I fixed this issue now by yet again downloading the patch on ISP 2. I know this sounds confusing, so I will try to break it down into steps.

1: Connected to ISP 1
2: Launch POE. POE patches
3: Run game after patch, graphics are glitched as shown in image in previous post of mine
4: Close game
5: Re-launch POE, game patches again
6: Run game, graphics are glitched

- Repeat this cycle

Now here comes the change that fixed the issue, and I believe it could possibly apply to others by restarting their router, and then re-launching the POE launcher, patching, and then running the game

7: Disconnect from ISP 1, connect to ISP 2 (or in your case, try restarting your router).
8: Launch POE. POE patches
9: Run POE. Graphical glitches are fixed

So to make this applicable to other users, try restarting your router and then launching POE again. It must be noted that it could be purely coincidence that my game has fixed itself on 2 different occasions using this method. It could purely be that the patching system is a bit buggy, and that you have to keep on patching until the issue goes away. But try restarting your router like I mentioned above, it could play a potential role into fixing the issue.

If it was an ISP issue using the vpn method should fix it, i tried resetting the router as you recommended but problem remains.
