Poison Arrow Cloud and Ancestral Bond

Is the the aoe cloud left by poison arrow damage supposed to still do damage with Ancestral Bond or not? The wiki says that it does, but testing it myself I don't see the mobs take any damage. Has anyone else tried this?

I think it was bugged before, it shouldn't do damage unless you slap it on a trap or RAT.
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

Yeah it seemed odd to me that the wiki and other sources says that it worked in the past and that it was intentional, but it doesn't work now.
