Verizon Edge Plan for Phone Upgrade - Good or Bad?

I have it. I actually got it originally because it was the cheapest way to get my better half a new iPhone. I probably won't upgrade for a few months yet so I can't speak to that part. However, having the 4 phones on the edge plan saves me roughly 40 bucks a month on various line fees.
