You ever check out Lucid 3, Robbie? I saw them a few times in pubs/clubs years ago. They weren't bad NZ musicians.

Dunno about indie..... but if you like melodic celticy sounding stuff/rock/metal I can recommend a few bands.... but it may not be what you are after....
Also as for nz bands..... There are very few I actually like the sound of. His masters voice is blues rock style band thing. Stormforge was also quite good, power metal Uhhh. Thats all I can think of right now for nz bands. O_o From the land of new zeal. Just here to stalk the forums.
