Multiple Vengeances

Say I have two vengeance gems socketed in different items.
How do they interact.
1) Independently
2) Share the same cooldown
3) Can't trigger on same attack, but have different cooldowns
4) You tell me

2. Multiple copies of the same gem always share a cooldown. There's not much point having two copies of Vengeance.

Edit: below poster is right, forgot Vengeance was a chance to proc.
Have you done something awesome with Sire of Shards? PM me and tell me all about it!

While the 1st part is true, there is still a point of having multiple gemps. It is chance based, 40% for a q20 gem. Meaning having 2 gems(both q20) will raise the chance to proc to 64% and 3 gems(here also all q20) to 78,4%.

The question is, can u use those sockets more effectively?

Well, I have another question about multiple vengeance:
If I have:
4L = Vengeance + Blind + Endurance + LGOH
2L = Vengeance + Endurance

Will I have a chance to get on the same counter-attack Blind, LGOH and 2 Endurance???

Edit: And the difference between a single target and mob?

Each set of links is a separate entity and should not interact in any way other than the shared cooldown. So you will either get Blind + 1 Endurance(??? Endurance Charge on Melee Stun maybe?) + LGOH OR just Endurance.

If both cooldowns are up I'm not sure how the game selects which to do, random or based on gear slot, but either way you'd be better off with just 1 in this case.

I don't understand what you are asking here.

It won't work that way, trigger gems follow a sequence depending on gem slot location so when the first one goes off it will put 'vengeance' on cooldown and the other one will be skipped.

For example, if you got the 4L combo slotted in your chest and the 2L combo in your boots you will never see the 2L one go off.
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

If the 4L does not trigger, the 2L has a chance to trigger. :P
(it's really pointless, Vengeance triggers all the time)

Right you are, sometimes can't tell it from Reckoning or that other one.

Agreed on using multiple vengeances to raise chance to proc, not really worth it.
