Asking for advice (leap slam or groud slam)

So i started a build to use two handed maces pretty much like most builds in the forum, with very little diferences i wanted in the skill tree, but its basically a two handed maces hp marauder with atack speed and dmg for GROUD SLAM.

Aaaaaand, after a few hours playing it, feeling the attack speed increase, really nice, etc etc, but it seems the skill isnt for me, i really hate the randomness of the skill and the area of effect it produces. So i was thinking to change to leap slam builds wich seems more common.

What do you suggest as experienced players? of course im new i started a week ago (lost 3 summoners at lvl 50 or so) and i want a build that will allow me to reach the endgame to start building up my currency and farming a few uniqes.

So the question is that simple, should i keep trying with ground slam? will it get way better? or should i move to leap slam? wich one is easier for a non experienced player? wich one is more profitable with low budget?

Oh i play on HARDCORE.
