Improving the passive tree - "warping"

It would be cool if there was a way to "warp" from one side of the skill tree to another, without having to spec through a bunch of random stuff I don't need.

Example: Getting blood magic / mortal conviction right now is such a pain, because most of the skill nodes along the way are useless.

What if you made it so you could warp from one side of the tree to the other, and it would cost you a set number of points. Say 15 points or so spent on a single node to go from the top right to the bottom left, or any of the 4 corners of the tree.

So you'd have a choice, use up 20 or so skill points to get whatever is along the way, or just use 15 to warp over to the other side.


Characters could actually utilize certain sections of any part of the skill tree, rather than having to commit to just half or a third of the tree as it is now. Most of my characters now just pepper a smaller area taking anything useful, because it costs way too much to venture too far away.
