Freezing on Masters Daily Loading screen

Hi there!

I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue! It is possible that an error message is being displayed on this crash, but is hiding behind the main game window. If this is the case, are you able to please provide us with the error message listed?

It is possible that you are experiencing an issue when attempting to transfer between certain zones for either asset loading, or a lack of available physical memory.

Please consider lowering your graphic settings temporarily to test, and adding "-gc 2" to the end of your Path of Exile shortcut target location if you're playing on the standalone client (It should look like this: "C:\Program Files\Grinding Gear Games\Path of Exile\Client.exe" -gc2), or your Launch Options if you're using the Steam Client. A comprehensive guide on applying this Launch Parameter can be found here.

Also, are you able to provide us with information about your computer by running dxdiag and sending it to us? (start, run, "dxdiag", and copy + paste into a spoiler tag here). We appreciate your time in doing this as it really helps us with assisting you to find the cause. Thanks!

Hi there!

Thank you for contacting us back to provide that information. There are currently a number of causes for this type of AppHang crash. Before we proceed, please uninstall your current version of DirectX, and reinstall using the setup exe within the game folder. (Located in C:\Program Files (x86)\[USER]\Path of Exile\Redist named dxsetup.exe)

Once removed, please uninstall your 780M drivers and perform a clean install from a newly downloaded file (non cached). Please ensure that the driver you install is a Release version, and not a Beta version. Should this not prove worthwhile, please perform this change again and select a prior release version of the driver.

I hope this information helps! Please contact us back with your resulted findings.

In the email, please provide a short description of the issue, as well as confirmation that an error message is not appearing behind the game window. This will enable us to run some tests with your system in an aim to isolate the cause of the issue.
