Sockets on Kaom's roots?

Kaom's roots + vaal orb. Can you roll a white socket on them? Is it possible?

No. when it says "has no sockets", that's what it means.

you need a socket to be able to roll a white.

how do you want to change a socket color to white if this item has no sockets? o.o

when u use a vaal orb it can create white sockets or change them altogether. check the wiki for details.

it can only change existing sockets to white or completely resocket the item, if it resockets them it also turns it into a random rare item.

that means you can change sockets to white ONLY if it already has sockets.

since kaom's roots has no sockets, you cannot add any, unless it corrupts to a rare item.
