What's going on with servers?

There's been two mass DCs in less than a week... this time I came back to find my Incinerator in standard. Quite annoyed. I know it's not my internet because a lot of people from my gateway are complaining about the same thing.. just wondering what's going on. I will rebuild.. just annoyed that I spent all my currency in the new HC1m league to buy a chest to die with it a day later. US gateway btw.
