Does Physical Life Leech apply to physical damage converted to elemental?

Because converted damage is still treated as physical right?

When you convert damage it replaces the original damage (in your case phys) with the new type. If you still have physical damage left after the conversion, you can still leech with that :)

It is also possible to get elemental leech though, so you could look into that if you need it.
