Chromatic Orb not activating :(

Hi there

Still pretty new.
When I right click the chromatic orb then left click on a socketed item nothing happens - any help
most appreciated.

is this consistant? as in, every time you use a chrome, and I mean every time, that the colors of the socket/sockets do not change?

Because Once in a while it will just simply reroll the exact colors your item had already. That's annoying but it happens

the equipment cannot be equipped, have a gem in it, or be corrupted/mirrored

Also, if you simply looked at the chat bar, the game tells you exactly what you're doing wrong.....
