Keep flasks in HUD clickable while inventory is open

My characters often get jumped while I'm sorting their inventory in hostile areas. If I happen to be low on health or I'm taking a lot of damage, clicking on a flask in the lower left corner of the HUD causes the flask to pop out instead of get used. Then when you go to attack the monster that's attacking you, the flask on your mouse cursor will then be dropped on the ground. I know that tapping the number keys for the flasks will use them but it would still be better to keep the flasks in the HUD usable when clicked with the mouse while inventory is open and make only the flasks in the inventory panel removable.
