How does ES recharge, arctic armour and reflect turn out?

Hi wise folks of the internet.
I’m planning on curse on hit with a level 1 firestorm(2-5 dmg) alongside a level 1 artic armour (-5damage) so the reflect would not stop my energy shield from recharging(while my minions tank). Would this work? I tried testing on Thistlesage, but can’t really determine it.

Should work fine, you are taking no damage.
