Need Help with Bow Marauder

Hi everyone,

I would like to build a Buring Arrow Profileration Bow Build with a marauder.

The skilltree if planed for level 90 looks like this: --> SKILLTREE <--

It is supposed to be a armoured character.
I don't want any trap action.
I don't need a lot of attack speed, but a powerful slow hit.
I want to run Herald Of Fire and Hatred.


The planed links are:

Burning Arrow - Fire Penetration - Weapon Elemental Damage - Added Fire Damage - Physical Projectil Damage
Herald Of Ash - Elemental Proliferation - Increased Burning Damage - Fire Penentration?/Reduced Mana?


If anyone has suggestions for gem setups or gear, i would love to here them.

Hello, interesting build idea to say the least.

I recommend using



Huge amounts of dex (You will need a lot) and a little bit of mana leach to use your attacks.

As for armor I recommend looking at the Soul of Steel cluster next to Iron Grip and Bloodless. 5 node investment for over 70% increase in armor. Its absurd, I get it on any character that goes near that area.

I think of running Belly of the beast. Probably best choise.
Thinking about using the unique Pyre Ring.

I've purchased some stuff i want to use on this character.

I'm using the Pyre Ring right now and switched to Ice Shot.
The Pyre Ring convertrs all Cold Damage to Fire Damage. That means Ice Shot and Hatred now provide Fire Damage. Because of this i've reworked my passive skilltree, to support this Fire Damage even more. In addition to that, Fire Damage Nodes also boost the burning.
I still run this build without GMP or LMP, what would lower my DPS, but instead have 4 support gems, only focousing an increasing my damage.

The only thing I start to worry about is reflect.
