What Templar build should I go that includes Arctic Armor?

So I haven't played for over a year and I got the urge to make a new character from scratch in the hardcore race league.

I used to run a Ethereal Blades Arctic Armor Scion back in the day which was very successful in hardcore at level 80 until I got bored and the skill tree chaged so I don't even know how to rebuild her with respecced points (if anyone has done this by the way, let me know!).

I really enjoy playing with Arctic Armor and wanted to try out Templar. Any builds that are cheap to run from scratch that I should look at?

mara and arctic armour dont go well together really :/

you want very high mana regen/mana pool to do it well and mara is not known for being able to pull it off efficiently

witch, shadow,templar, scion are all better choices

I guess some sort of Righteous Fire caster would be fine as Marauder, though probably most ppl start as Templar, the difference isn't huge.

Any recommendations for Templar then?

I'm having trouble coming up with a more difficult char/gem combo to make work than mara/aa...

actaully anything that uses Eldritch battery

I use AA with most Templar casters, in case I utilize fire damage I always use it

but some melee builds benefit from it as well. ie (non soul taker/vaal clarity) Dominating blow (= build with huge mana cost that stacks auras). It uses it as a free bonus because mana regen is already high enough

I was using it succesfully with FB Inf. Blow to offset reflect from my greatly enhanced explosions. It also worked greatly in synergy with some Armour and End charges. But I cant reccomand this setup unless you perfectly know what you are doing, gearing is very specific

The Templar-Witch-Scion 'love triangle' has the most mana regen, % mana, % ES and can easily pick Eldritch Battery.

Therefore any build that circles around that area, can use AA to great effect. (Shadow start works too)
