Make totems in Haku and Bloodlines mod targetable

Why would you introduce anything that damages the player that cannot be targeted?

I feel like this design choice takes away from the gameplay because it prevents a player from engaging this mechanic in any way besides "just walk away".

With other mechanics such as necrovigil, you can get rid of it by detonating the corpses.

Please change the way these totems behave so that the user experience is better.

Because it is supposed to be a challenge. The Haku totems are good resist checks on gear, if you have low resists vs the haku totems then you'll have a hard time, if you have good resists, it'll be much easier. Same for bloodlines totems.

If GGG allowed them to be targetable then they would have to make them much more deadly so that people wouldn't be able to one-shot them and just breeze through the Haku missions with bad resists. If GGG made the totems more deadly, then players would start complaining that the Haku missions are too hard to complete and more complaints about it being a nerf to melee builds.
