Recently I purchased these:
 2 Tb of raid 0 SSD goodness for all my games. (b) Personal abuse, foul language, inappropriate subject matter, obscene, harassing, threatening, hateful, or discriminatory or defamatory remarks of any nature ... are not permitted.

I'm considering this. think it is worth doing on a 3yr old pc with an i5 or should I wait for the full upgrade?

Well Im still running on X58 which is only Sata II. I only get 550 Mb/s reas speeds with them in Raid 0 but it still helps.
You dont get to use trim in Raid 0 on older chipsets though, but it shouldnt matter if they're only for games. My maps load so fast now, I waste too much time waiting for party members running the game off a HDD ... like I could clear half the map before they've loaded. Dogma > Souls, but they're masterworks all. You can't go wrong. I was right about PoE2 needing to be a separate, new game. It was really obvious. |

Google Fiber hath chosen my city for its master plan so as soon as they turn the switches I plan on dropping Hellcast and going for a full pc monster upgrade. wish it was tomorrow but alas! probs not until 2016.
