Best skills gems for a ranger starting off?

Title says it all, I was wondering what skill gems I should be aiming for?
Im using nugis build since im going HC

poison arrow is one of the best gems for low levels. Shoot and kite is the best especially for HC

Starting off your best gem choices are:

1. Burning Arrow - low mana and good DPS, great for single target.
2. Poison Arrow - Very nice for shooting one into a crowd and letting the AOE poison cloud eat away at mobs' HP.
3. Lightning Arrow - A little more mana heavy, but hits three adjacent targets from the primary target hit by the projectile and does moderate damage.

Can also go with Split Arrow, but if you're just starting off and might be concerned with mana early on then Burning/Poison work well.

I personally main rangers and poison arrow makes renters have a little easier time starting the game
