Does fire damage scale herald of ash burning?

I am just curious, I was using Herald of ash with 2h Hege and prolif, increased burning damage, fire pen and increased area of effect.

Was wandering if fire damage actually scaled the herald of ash burn? Or if elemental damage also scaled that?

Ah sweet so fire/elemental damage does scale the burning effect of Ash?

I figured it would not, but that is good to know.

SO if I overkill a mob with pure physical damage, and have 100% increased fire/ele damage, then mob will burn for 150%'ish damage + the increas in fire/ele damage?
