One Month League is code word for.....

Ooops, we need more time, lets toss them a distraction while we "Extend the previous League some". Anyone else notice we did not get a single new gem this season as well, last season they would spice things up by tossing in something new and fresh.

I think....Its like a relationship that is on a bad path, NOT doing the things they used to get ya...to keep ya...


Maybe its time to try out somethign new for a bit ( Game wise ) Any suggestions anyone?

Path of Exile won't disappear if you play something else. In fact, I'd recommend it. If you are burned out, stop playing. Don't force it.

Go play Pillars of Eternity when it comes out. It is still technically a PoE.

I personally prefer getting all the new gems and uniques added at the start of the league rather than having them slowly dribbled out.

Did I miss something? Did GGG announce a specific release date for Act IV that they have since missed? Or is there a code book to which only a very special few have access? =0[.]o=

I agree, go play another game for a bit. I did, it was a great idea. I am having fun coming back again too.

Also, try not to just focus on an "end game" mentality. This game, unlike most arpg's, DOES start at the beginning. There are lots of low level uniques and gems that work end game, and currency is useful all the way through (whether you trade, or gamble it away poorly). Just enjoy the journey, try new things, and have fun with it. I have never understood the rush to get to the end game, find an OP build, and kill stuff super fast and repeat the SAME CONTENT for 200+ hours, then complain that there is no variety in this game. There REALLY is more than just maps to run.

PoE is meant to be played as a rerollparino. End game sucks major donkey balls in poe (lv92+) and everyone knows that. Theres a rrason why to experience any new contents in poe (temp leagues) 1st hand... you are forced to reroll... or wait for 4 month until the cool new stuff is not new anymore...

The leagues are only 3 months old, will last less than 4 (when some players were afraid they will be going on for like 5, since GGG never said how long BL/Torment will be), and people were already complaining everywhere that it was already taking too long, so they give a fresh environment with what they have (=1 month league), because you know, they can't reinvent their game every month. I'm so tired of this "when is the next thing ?" type of players that are bored as quick as they log in any game. Even if I didn't play a lot of online games (but a fair amount still), I can safely say that for me GGG is the best company when it comes to updating their game, and especially their updating pace.
