Client crashed after giving some .ogg errors
This has been happening to me randomly since the beta. The client just dies trying to read ogg files that I guess are corrupt or don't exist.
Game needs a try{}catch{} somewhere, the game should still run if some sound files don't load. I'm in the slums right now and can't get into the Catacombs... Last edited by TheTrueHarlequin#2381 on Nov 10, 2013, 3:25:39 PM

Very annoying problem. In the first 2 acts crashes were occasional. In Act 3 I get a crash every time :(

Still no help, no fixes. Unplayable in Act 3.

It seems that aftermarket sound such that I have and others doesnt go well with this game. Tried all patches and still .ogg errors :(

If you're using a Creative/Auzentech XFI soundcard you'll want to switch your soundcard to Entertainment Mode and make use of the
--softwareaudio parameter (Append it to the end of the Target box when editing the properties of a shortcut to the game, do not place it within the existing " marks.) Computer specifications:
