Client crashed after giving some .ogg errors

I was trying to enter the sewers with the keys I received from the Clarrisa Act 3 quest and it used the keys then popped up like 5 exceptions .ogg sound files being the reason. They were not loading. The client then crashed.
UPDATE: I was able to retrace my steps after relogging in due to the instance being the same and it let me enter this time. Just an FYI. Last edited by Denialoflife#0015 on Feb 9, 2013, 7:31:32 AM

Happens to me frequently as well using the Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi. Particularly in maps which sucks.

I have the same problem with loading the map from the lab. It's usually an error with loading ogg files, which is known problem with Creative sound cards. Solution is to enable SW audio (Client.exe" -swa), however, it's not acceptable solution for players. PLEAS, GGG, fix that bug tied to the Creative sound cards. Maybe you should try Creative support. It's an very old, annoying and shameful error.

" Not GGG's problem to fix tbh, creative are terrible for their drivers particularly with .ogg audio and the semi regularly update the drivers fixing crashes and BSOD's. I'm suddenly having constant crashes. When I do --nosound mode it works fine. If I do --softwareaudio I still get constant crashes.
