Just gonna download the non steam version I have that on my laptop but I recently got a new rig yesterday so my brother gave me the steam version to back up and it worked. Sorry about this. As far as we can tell it is just Steam being a bit slow to push the new patch out to all their servers. If you do grab the stand alone client you can copy the Content.ggpk file out of your Steam install to save yourself most of the download. With default install paths this would mean copying: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Path of Exile\Content.ggpk to: C:\Program Files (x86)\Grinding Gear Games\Path of Exile\Content.ggpk after installing the stand alone client, but before patching. Seems to be working from my end, I just got home and downloaded/applied the patch via Steam. It will be working for some, and not for others, depending on whether the Steam servers local to you have updated. Unfortunately we have no estimate of when this will be fully resolved. Your best bet is to try "Verify integrity of game cache..." in Steam to try to force the update, but this will still depend on whether your local servers have updated.
