I cant believe no one is commenting this? I want to ask if it is possible for a ranger version? if so please help me out, I wana respec my 58 level ranger to try this out
A pretty similar idea to my "Freeze the bejeezus out of everything" CoC build. Needs some serious defensive tweaking (I keep getting 1-hit killed in Merciless A2)
I started out using barrage, but changed to tornado shot for a much wider cast cone. Barrage is great for single target, but the arrows flying out from tornado shot can hit things all over the place, meaning you occasionally cast sideways or even backwards, sooooo much better for groups, which is 99% of what you're facing... (I'm getting killed a lot because I'm levelling him with full offensive passives first, only now starting on the defences...

And yes, it's definitely possible as a ranger instead, just tweak it through the projectile damage passives or life+evasion, depending on preference
