One old-school racer is looking for the best racing guild in PoE
Good day.
I would like to join a racing guild, and not just any racing guild, but one of very best such guilds around. Or even _the_ best one, if there is such a guild in PoE. Please tell me about racing guilds in PoE, and please tell me how can i join very best of them - what i need to do. I dare think i would be quite a find for such a guild, considering my interests, skills and past achievements in all kinds of racing, from ultimate victory in Diablo 2 hardcore racing tournament (yep, it DID exist, just not too many people know about it) to recent overwhelming victory in WT F1 championship. Some more details and notes are inder the spoiler.
Spoiler
I am new to PoE, and i just learned that race season 11 will start Feb 15th, i.e. in 11 days from now. Sidenote: race season 11 starts in 11 days from the moment i learned about it. Funny. :) I might be a noob to Path of Exile, but i dare think i have the potential to achieve highest possible results in PoE racing, especially if i work in team with similarly capable players. Not much time remains till the start of racing season 11, and being a noob in PoE in general, i definitely look for more experienced racers to prepare myself for it. I am willing to practice as nesessary, learn new things, etc. I hope that with a help of great racing guild, i can become a part of highly successful team even during/through this incoming Season 11, and even more so in the future seasons. I do plan to stay in PoE for long - especially now that i learned about racing in here! Please do note that i race primarily to WIN. Rewards are secondary. To me, it is the 1st place which is improtant. Links above illustrate this feature of mine rather well. Also, about 1st link above: please do note that both "WVr" and "Monkey0" are my names there. Also, please note the last post there. And, to my knowledge, i am _still_ the champion of Amazon Basin's meeting place tournament, up to date, for 8+ years already (together with Helo and Malach, of course). another sidenote: now, 8+ years since this run was planned for, practiced for and performed, the best thing is reading all these congratulations there once again. Especially since i still remember how _difficult_ was to have those few particular people to make such a hearty congratulations... People like Grimborn were extremely difficult to impress. If by any chance you're reading this, Grimborn - please do note that i consider what i just said a compliment to you. It's been a honor to know you, Grim. Thank you in advance for help, and i am looking forward to race together and win together. BIG time! |

Try the guild that Helman is in a fairly popular streamer on twitch

I might do just that, thanks!
Meanwhile, i used some guild finder to look for Europe guilds which do races, there are 7 which said they do, none of those is what i am looking for, though. Some of those are even seemingly inactive for year+... Is there a dedicated racing guild in PoE, at all? Last edited by Fins_FinsT#5086 on Feb 8, 2015, 10:42:58 PM

" There arent that many that only race specifically even though the seasons are fairly regular, usually I would suggest you find a streamers guild since they are the only ones that really take racing seriously but also have public profiles. Many guilds also do racing on the side to the challenge leagues but other than the Australian Guild ACE I'm not aware of many that brand themselves as a "racers-only" guild. Good Luck on your search!
