Always show item level? It could be less ''busy work''

Itemlevel is an important info (not something optional and only for "pros"), so this number should be part of the item description sheet - as a small icon somewhere, so it wont confuse people at all.

Typing /itemlevel is extremely redundant and annoying!
Since there is no other way to find out item level, how can /itemlevel be considered redundant? I don't think that's the word you meant to use.

It is annoying though.
Its so fucking annoying when you try to empty your stash.

Was literally just thinking about this.

yep I would like this.

Spent like 2 minutes figuring out which wands to discard and which to keep for crafting, had to check item level of every one. Would take 5 seconds with item level in the tooltip

im not against it being an option in the.. er, well, options.

that way we dont confuse the newer players with even more numbers they have no idea about. and the people who do want to see i lvl can view it easier.

Although. Its not that big of a deal for me to pick up an item and type

/Ilevel

let's also remove the passive tree so we don't confuse new players
Implement /players x already

Yeah, because THAT wasn't completely blowing things out of proportion.

There's a huge difference between trying to streamline the interface and bring more clarity to the game and what you've just said, with a fair deal of bile I should imagine.

If I like a game, it'll either be amazing later or awful forever. There's no in-between.

I am Path of Exile's biggest whale. Period.

sounds like a good idea. GGG should hire you.

Just put ilvl in the corner or somewhere where it clearly doesn't matter. I don't know how easy that is to do.

Most players will figure it out pretty quickly when they can equip the ilvl 33 sword at level 30 that has "req level 30" on it.

itemlevel is a metagame concept, so it will never show up in the item mouseover tooltip. Would cause extreme confusion in a significant segment of the population.

I'd say that right now, a significant segment of the population is completely confused about what you mean when you say ilevel, and what it all means. Putting it in the actual interface would be very useful in mending this situation.
