MSI Issue?

I had the same problem, it turned out that it was COMODO Antivirus which was messing with the windows installer.

(Comodo was running in game mode, so it never showed the installer prompt, thus crashing.)

Try turning of "game mode" or turning off the anti virus.
Then try it again.
