CwDT blind

Hi, I would like to proc blind on lvl1 CwDT, but not sure what combo on 4L and future 5L would be best. Gems I am considering:
skills to proc
-Ball lightning
and/or
-firestorm

supports:
- knockback
- inc AoE
- gmp (balll)
- inc duration (firestorm)

You have the right idea. Blind has a low proc rate so you want skills that hit multiple times per cast and a cwdt at low level. You may want to test ball with gmp rather than fire storm. Not really sure what is going to work best.

fire totem, gmp, blind, knockback

great aginst fast melee rare/unique monsters (when you are ranged)

Cool idea. A problem with ball lightning supported by GMP is that all five balls are still part of the same cast, meaning you won't in general get any more hits per target than without GMP. The area coverage is of course larger with GMP. To cause more hits per target you'd need to swap out GMP for spell echo. The best idea is probably to test the mentioned setups and see which one works best. I would also try having both spells proc. On a 4L that could look like CWDT > Ball lightning > Firestorm > Blind.

the only skill that procs enough for blind to trigger reliably is flame totem.

So cdwt + flame totem + gmp + blind.
