Grapple / Hook skill (similar to Brutus')

Has been suggested before in similar ways but heres my suggestion.

It would be an attack but not a projectile, not working with projectile gems and projectile speed.
So it would have a fixed range.
It's a single target skill but can be supported with Melee Splash to pull everything around the main hit to yourself.

Where/Why could this be useful?

Remaining Obelisk Bloodline monsters, pulling them away from the already standing totems.
Pull totems away from packs.
Seperate strongbox packs with it.
Pull a slow "allies cant die" rare to you.

etc.

Would love to see something like this and hear others opinions

So it would make the game a lot easier by pulling all dangerous things out of thick packs. Got it.
Just based on the obelisk situtaion with slow mobs it would just save a lot of time (faster gameplay), u dont run into 10 obelisks, ever. And in a thick pack you would probably be unable to hit the right target or pull more than one with splash.

This skill would be hilarious. Also desync central, but hey :P
FYI: It's not a fantasy story, it's a cosmic horror story.
I oddly kinda like this idea. Go figure.
