What is the max number of sockets that can be put in these?

If those are the gloves, 4 sockets and 3 links between them.
Keep in mind, the itemlevel dictates the maximum amount of sockets an item can have. itemlevel =/= level restriction To view the items itemlevel, pick it up with your mouse and then type /itemlevel, from there, do some research on the minimum itemlevel for 4 sockets :). Just adding that you can craft 4 sockets on it with master crafting even if it doesn't have required item level.
