Agnerod Arc/ Storm Call Crit build v.1.3 // 500k damage per use!!

I am testing this character since few weeks and i want to share it with you !

This build is high level maps-able and also atziri tested.


I always loved storm call effect and its sensation of power and felt like with those Agnerods, this could be the time to try one...

so here is the core item of this build:

I just combine arc (Arc-spell echo - Pcoc - ele Prolif - inc crit chance - add cold damage for 6l) to prepare for the big buffed Storm call (Storm call - spell echo - light pen - added light/faster cast - empower/life leech - and conc effect)

defense is made by huge es,dream fragments to avoid freeze, separated enduring cry and immortal call on CWDT and warlord's mark on curse.

Hi I'm playing a very similar build in the closed beta right now and just got the staff. Main difference is that I have been using 3 dragons and pyre to freeze stuff (pyre to proc HoT). I use two vaal storm calls as well, its very fun. Glad I have this as a guide now, my tree is all over the place.

I assume your just using that 6L Arc to clear trash and possibly freeze with added cold/prolif?
In any case, Arc scales better with cast speed and level than with added xxx. So optimal dps links for Arc would be echo - fast cast - lightning pen - PCoC - Empower. You'd lose the freeze of course, but your Arc damage would roughly double. If you even need that with your gear, probably not lol.

Edit: As for the tree, I'd rather take either "Written in Blood" or "Faith and Steel" for 2 points, rather than the 10% lightning damage after Lightning Walker and the 12% witch spell dmg node. 15% ES for 2 points + other stats is way better than the hardly noticeable 22% lightning damage, even on softcore. You can never have enough ES :) And 120% increased ES isn't exactly a lot lol, even with OP gear like yours.

How early into the build did you get Chaos Inoculation? I'm doing a similar Energy shield based build and I'm terrifed to take CI. Not sure if I should wait or not. Any tips you can give to make it work?
