ST has no "Melee" tag and therefore does not work with "+ X% melee phys dmg" nodes nor with melee support gems.

ST does benefit from those crit nodes.Needs clarification.

The wording is correct, the behaviour was not matching the current intent. I am working on changing these to correctly apply to melee attacks.

It was noted in another thread that Abyssus has the same bug.

Your post made me look at my Abyssus - when did the wording on the Abyssus change? I'm positive it used to say "with melee weapons". It seems even my old Abyssus on standard has changed too, and I didn't see any patch notes about it?

I'm actually a bit bummed about it. I had hoped to make a life-based ST build that would deal relatively strong damage without having to go all-out with low life just to make ST work well.

This fix was not mentioned in the 1.3.1 patch notes. Did it make it, or will it go into a future patch?
