Minion resistance penalty

Does the penalty to resistances from difficulty apply to minions as well as the player? also do minions have (by default) a cap of 75% resists, or any base resists to start with?

oh and do items with "+1 to level of melee gems" apply to support gems that increase melee damage? or just melee attack skills.

Minions is not affected by the resistance penalties. I have no idea what the default minion resistances is though.

+1 level applies to both skills and support gems as long as they got the corresponding tag.

ha right i completely forgot gems have tags now thanks :)
