Gems have Experience - Strongbox bug

First time here on a forum, but wanna ask why my level 15 fireball from a strongbox deals 0 damage to mobs in a lvl 2 coast area. It doesnt even display a dps number. Only me having this problem?

Don't even bother asking, it's obvious he has ancestral bond. Unless he has crazy awesome desync.
